William “Bill” Zongker Sr. was the proud owner of this good-looking 2007 Dyna Low Rider. This bike was donated to the Martin Auto Museum by Zongker’s family in his memory.
Bill Zongker was a husband, a father, a father-in-law, a grandfather, a friend, and so much more to so many people in his short 67 years. For almost 30 years, Bill proudly served in the United States National Guard and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. In the second act of his life, Bill became the proud owner of his own air conditioning business, Bill’s Heating and Cooling, LLC, which he gained the respect and reputation around the valley as an honest and fair businessman.
This is one of two bikes previously owned by Bill. When not involved with his business, he loved to ride his motorcycles with his wife, Julia, and his favorite riding buddies – Dave, Stuart, Jeff, and his brother Paul. Riding down south to Sierra Vista, Bisbee, and Tombstone with the force of the wind and an open road ahead was one of his favorite pastimes. Bill thoroughly enjoyed riding his motorcycles.
