
Arizona’s Premier Automotive Museum Deepens its Commitment to Preserving the Collector Car Hobby by Appointing Industry Veteran Gary Bennett to its Board of Directors
GLENDALE, AZ (June 4, 2025) – The Martin Auto Museum and Event Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Bennett, renowned automotive expert and former Vice President of Barrett-Jackson Auctions to its Board of Directors. With over five decades of experience in the collector car industry, Mr. Bennett brings unparalleled insight and leadership to the museum’s mission of celebrating and preserving automotive history.
Founded by car enthusiast and philanthropist Mel Martin, the Martin Auto Museum and Event Center is home to one of the most extensive collections of rare, vintage, and historically significant automobiles in the country. Unlike other facilities of its kind, visitors are able to sit inside the majority of the vehicles, and experience them fully. The addition of Bennett to the board underscores the museum’s commitment to the long-term preservation of the collector car hobby and to expanding its educational and community outreach efforts.
